Your workplace

The Unit for Stress-Related Ill Health is a rehabilitation facility for individuals, with the goal of improving health, increasing activity and functional capacity, and facilitating return to work. We serve patients with stress-related ill health where there is a risk of repeated short-term sick leave or longer periods of sickness absence. Referrals are made from primary healthcare centers after the patient has undergone a complete medical investigation.

Our treatment approach is based on our assessment of the patient, followed primarily by group therapy where we work collaboratively and multidisciplinary. In cases where the patient is unable to participate in group treatment, we provide individual arrangements. Our team consists of physicians, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and healthcare administrators.

The work climate in our unit is characterized by cooperation, commitment to the target group, and mutual support across professional boundaries.

Your responsibilities

As a physician at our unit, you assess incoming referrals and conduct medical evaluations of patients as part of our assessment process.

You continuously follow up with patients during your own clinic visits and hold responsibility for sick leave certification for the majority of the patients we treat. The role includes a minor coordination function, which may involve contacting employers to plan the patient's return to work.

Your knowledge and competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with specialist competence in psychiatry or general practice and who are authorized to practice within the Swedish healthcare system.
